Today was the last day for fifth grade School of the Wild week! They had so much fun this week learning all about water, prairie/birds, and woodlands at Prarie creek. Then exploring the caves then Bellevue state park today for survival skills! Today they learned how to build fires, shelters and try some wild edibles!

Reminder: Blessing of the Animals is tomorrow , October 4th after our 9:00 mass. If you are bringing your pet, please make sure you are here by 9:45. The students and staff will come outside for the blessing after mass has ended.
The fifth graders are having a great time at school of wild so far this week with Marquette! We have gone to Prarie creek to learn about water, Prarie, birds and woodlands. Today they got to go to the caves! Here are a few pictures of the groups I worked with so far this week! I was in charge of teaching them all about watersheds, exploring the pond and creek for various critters and testing the water. Two more fun filled days!

4th grade visited Cornelius Seed Company Wednesday. We watched a presentation on the company's development, visited the one room schoolhouse, and toured their facility. We learned lots of interesting things and had a great time! Thanks for letting us visit!😊 And, yes, we still found corn in our classroom today!🌽😂
